OGOH-OGOH | SVENSTREAMS IS LIVE! ( With JT) (18 Mar 2026)

Sven does an impromptu drunk SvenStreams with JT after going out for Bali's Ogoh-Ogoh festival, opening with audio checks, "I fell off the wagon" confessions, arak at a cemetery, and the chaos of Nyepi approaching: ATMs shut down, traffic lights off, electricity restricted, airports closing, and everyone forced indoors for the Balinese Day of Silence. The first big stretch is a Bali field report, with Sven showing his own Ogoh-Ogoh footage and live feeds of giant handmade demon effigies being paraded and burned near cemeteries, comparing the designs to Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Berserk monsters. Sven tells the "no water after the gym" story, escaping to a cheap five-star resort for $25, and breaks down how the island's Hindu traditions, demon iconography, Nyepi silence rules and volcanic spirituality feel radically different from Western civic culture. The stream returns to Butch Killigan 3, in its final stretch at roughly $23,000 and 338 backers, pushing the $50 Arc One Omnibus. A major middle section turns into Berserk evangelism: the 90s anime, the Golden Age movies, the Eclipse, the removed "Idea of Evil" chapter, Griffith and Guts, and how Berserk's delayed story detonation influenced Sven's thinking about Butch. From there the episode spirals into Dutch migration, Forum for Democracy, CO2/cow taxes, the Netherlands hollowing out, Europe pessimism, and the need for counter-culture art. Later Sven compares rituals from Bali, Japan, Ireland, India and the Netherlands, touching on brutalist architecture and the idea that art must carry a worldview. The final stretch gets darker as the alcohol hits, with a final Butch plug and a reminder Sven may be offline during Nyepi.
